Paul Storr Pepper Pot, 1812

This high quality pepper pot was almost certainly made by Paul Storr, although the maker's mark to the main body is worn. The marks to the cover appear to be the distinctive "PS" marks of Storr, plus the design of the pot is reminiscent of Coburg pattern - one of Paul Storr's creations. This caster has a good hefty feel in the hand and the interior of both pot and cover are gilt. Fine condition throughout.
