A fine example of a classic Celtic inspired spoon by Alexander Ritchie. Ritchie was based in the Scottish island of Iona and his work is characterised by Celtic knots and artwork. This most attractive spoon is in excellent condition and bears full Glasgow hallmarks to the shank on the front of the spoon. The reverse side bears the design registration number, incuse "AR" makers mark and the "IONA" stamp.
